A survey from earlier this year (May, 2024) looked at how useful CMOs see AI to be. Four-fifths of CMO respondents from across the globe said that productivity has been improved with AI.
More findings from the survey included:
- Top budget priorities for generative AI use cases were:
- content creation
- social media engagement
- ad copywriting
- Decision making from customer data analysis is enhanced with AI. AI helps with understanding what is and isn’t working with the sales process.
- AI enables teams to do more with fewer resources. Back-end tasks such as data management and understanding customer sentiment can easily be streamlined with AI, which frees up team members for other work that requires more in-depth attention.
- Customer-centric strategies can be improved with AI-powered tools such as:
- Chatbots to enable customer self-service
- Automatic routing during customer interactions
- Automated contextual knowledge for streamlining customer conversations by live agents.
