Another non-healthcare company has joined the ranks of such companies providing healthcare services: Lyft. Looking to provide non-emergency transportation services, Lyft named Buck Poropatich to the position of head of healthcare. 
Poropatich has healthcare experience, having previously served in strategy and business development positions at McKesson and Change Healthcare. He was the director of healthcare strategy at Lyft before assuming the new position.
Lyft began offering non-emergency transport in April of this year and is working to increase its market share in the sector.
